Technique
- 1Keep the queen a knight's jump away from the enemy king to box it in.
- 2Once the king is on the edge, bring YOUR king closer.
- 3Before every quiet move, make sure the enemy king still has a legal move (stalemate!).
Why it works
The queen restricts, the king supports. One piece alone can't mate. They need each other.
