How it works
- 1We download your recent public games from the Lichess API (no login, no access to your account).
- 2Stockfish, running on your device, evaluates each of your moves and flags the ones that lose a lot of value.
- 3Every flagged move is classified: a hanging piece, a missed fork or pin, a missed mate, a king left in danger, a slip in the endgame.
- 4The report ranks the three patterns you repeat most, shows a real example from your games, and builds practice puzzles from those positions.
- 5Everything stays in your browser; a free account only adds syncing across devices.
Where to find your Lichess username
- It's in your profile address: lichess.org/@/your-name.
- Paste just the name, or the whole profile link: both work.
- If your account is closed or your games are private, the analysis can't read them.
FAQ
Does Lichess already have analysis?add
Lichess analyses one game at a time. This looks across your recent games to find the mistakes you keep making, then gives you puzzles and lessons for them.
Do I need to log in to Lichess?add
No. Only your public games are read, through the official Lichess API.
Which games are included?add
Your most recent finished standard games: rapid, blitz, classical and correspondence. Variants like Chess960 are skipped.
I play on Chess.com too. Can I analyse those?add
Yes: use the Chess.com version of this tool. The report is the same, it just reads your Chess.com games.
